What do you think this thread is about? Do you not understand that Project 2025 is 50 different conservative “think” tanks making plans so that dingus Trump doesn’t have to? They intend to remake the country even if they manage to cheat enough to get cheese brain Trump in.

Yes, I understand that. I'm also highlighting the chaos that will ensue. I'm on your side! Despite how much evidence is before people, some will say we are hysterical or worse, think a "Strong Man" will be good. I think reminding folks about the chaos that will ensue is important.

The chaos is part of the point; the other part is to dismantle the non partisan government. Once that is done - on Trump’s “being a dictator on day one” - by firing all the non partisan government employees, they can: gut the USPS (all the easier to privatize it if everyone’s fired!), stop any and all regulations from being processed and followed (if no one’s watching, anyone can do anything) and they can push forth the rest of their radical agenda.

People should be paying very close attention but once again the “liberal” media is barely covering this.

By non partisan, do you mean crooked?

I think by non-partisan, the PP means career government employees as opposed to political appointees. But, you knew that right? There aren’t many crooks in the civil service. It’s not accurate to refer to career federal employees as crooked.

Yeah. We just want to do our work, get paid fairly, pay our mortgage, and feed our family. I went into government work in part because I didn't want to be part of the business world.

Question, do "woke" people opposed radical Christianity? Because from my vantage point, "the woke" simply want to live their lives and be as respected as everyone else. That is different than imposing, through the instruments of government, morality, ethics, etc of a fundamentalist nature. They’d rather see women become chattel and have no rights, to be followed by the likely return to actual slavery for Black people and expulsion of varying ethnicities and immigrant groups, as well as atheists themselves getting punished and they think that’s better than “woke” politics? I don’t think some of these people have really thought this through.

It bears repeating that a few short years ago, it was unthinkable that Roe would be overturned. Many of these same unconcerned people (men, usually) told us we were hysterical, overreacting and in general not thinking clearly. Roe is gone. The same could happen and these guys who are happy to see women’s rights hacked away are going to discover they will not be protected either.

I was specifically asking that “trump hating atheist” to why they think living in a white nationalist christofascist nation would be preferable to living in a “woke-fascist” nation (whatever the heck that means).
