Students are not in college May-August, except in some cases welcome week at the very end of August. Just like students aren’t on campus when the northern Midwest is tolerable in the summer, they’re on campus when it’s rainy, slushy and subzero. |
Clearly you have not enjoyed fall, winter, or spring in the "upper Midwest". Sure am glad it never rains, snows or gets chilly in the DMV, what would people do and how would they survive? I have no idea how my kid will survive at school next Fall given the intolerable conditions. Though, since I managed to not only survive, but enjoyed it, perhaps it won't be so bad. |
+1. And light therapy can be very effective. If your child has SAD and is willing to consistently use it, shorter data may not be a big issue for them. |
