Surprised no one has mentioned For All Mankind (Apple TV). A reimagining of the space race between the US and the Soviets. The cast is amazing and the drama is super compelling, but the biggest selling point for me is that the space stuff is just thrilling and made me feel about space travel the way I did when I was a kid. Like it just makes me feel like I'm 7 years old and watching shuttle launches on TV and imagining what it would be like to go to the moon. Highly recommend.
I think Ted Lasso and For All Mankind alone are worth the Apple subscription fee by themselves. So excited about Season 3 when it comes out next year. |

The Gift on Netflix Clarkson's Farm on Amazon The Leftovers HBOMax - 1st season is not great but it gets much better. |
Doc Martin (not sure if it’s widely known and didn’t expect to like it but I did). |
Utopia on Amazon but British version is apparently way better. |
Cruel Summer. A teen show but well done and fantastic acting by the two leads. |
