What careers have the least ageism?

My DH is a physician in academic medicine and ageism is not an issue for him and his colleagues.

That might be an outlier in academia. It's sort of like law schools, who will sometimes hire ex-judges, politicians, high-ranking agency officials, and other notables who can give the school a shine of prestige. But for anyone just coming out of law school who doesn't already have a long career full of accomplishments, being young is still a huge advantage.
