If you have a big nose, at what age could you tell it would be big?

It was 14 for me -- but I like to think I've sort of grown into by now (I'm in my early 40s).

I disagree. Looking back at pictures, I had a cute little nose until 4th-5th grade. I'd say 7th grade was about when it really showed its true size. I hated it, and feel very lucky to have had a nose job when I was 17. At the time, I remember the plastic surgeon saying that 16 is usually the earliest they'll perform a nose job since that's when your nose generally stops changing and is at its adult shape.

OP, I can relate. I posted a question a couple of days ago on General Parenting asking about possible correlation between a child's weight and his weight as an adult. I was simply curious, I swear! Sure enough, almost immediately someone told me to put my poor DC on a diet or start force-feeding him. Geez, people, don't project your insecurities on others!

Same here. First pp is not right. I'm sure some 3 year olds have big honkers, but mine was pretty cute and very average until about 6th or 7th grade. Nose job at 18--never looked back.

18:51 again. I should say, my nose wasn't THAT bad. Which could be why it was pretty cute until about 12. Nonetheless, I wanted to change it.
