Mitch wants protections for companies from COVID lawsuits. if I am being forced to work and the company hasn't taken minimum effort to protect me by mandating masks and having installed plexiglass from the customers, and I get COVID, what is my recourse?

Everytime an offer is made Pelosi’s grand stance is ‘Its not enough’.

So where are we now? A bill worth a quarter of the initial request, no unemployment or no stimulus, barely any local/state aid. Seriously the Dems had a great hand and just - killed it.

Which proposals did Mitch McConnell say he would support that Nancy Pelosi rejected? Please provide links to substantiate any claims you make about Mitch McConnell expressing support for a particular proposal.

Don't be obtuse. If you were watching the talks you'd know negotiations prior to December 2020 were handled by Pelosi+Schumer representing the Democrats in both House+Senate and Mnuchin+Meadows representing the White House plus GOP House+Senate.

The proposals were all raised by M+M without comment or objection from McConnell.

He is deliberately throwing a wrench in the works, because he wants to cut unemployment in order to force people back to work, all for his legacy numbers.

Why can’t Mitch negotiate for himself? Meadows isn’t in the House anymore, he’s in the White House. None of this is normal. Why can’t the Senate GOP vote on a bill and take it to conference instead of the Secretary of the Treasury and the White House Chief of Staff negotiating for the Senate? No one voted for them.
