Will republicans turn out in GA?

If Mitch doesn't publicly state that the MI legislature need to follow the will of the people, then he (and all of the other "well, just wait and see how the legal process plays out") are literally, without hyperbole, endorsing a coup.
I have to believe that is alarming to some of the people who might be right-leaning but still believe in the fundamental concept of democracy.

Not that poster, but I certainly do.

Sincere question: why? Gridlock is what got us the fiscal cliff, budget sequestration, and government shutdowns.

The BCA was one of the few bipartisan laws of consequence of the last twenty years. I'm a big fan of it and similar laws, and hope we get something like it again.

Government shutdowns have not been shown to be consequential in any significant way.

Government shutdowns cost billions of dollars in lost labor, disrupt the provision of services, take money out of the economy, hamper economic growth, and reduce faith in our institutions. If you're interested in good governance, you should be appalled by that.

This is absolutely untrue. It's scary you think this.

Yup. With a few reasonable compromises that come out of it. And the thought of Ds getting rid of the filibuster is downright frightening. Biden was necessary for a reset on the presidential level. But total D control is a bridge too far.

Reasonable compromise like McTurtle holding up a Supreme Court seat under Obama?

That was the prerogative of the Senate. IF the Rs hold the Senate and deem a Biden nominee unacceptable, the Senate has every right to proceed as it wishes.

Yeah she tweeted the other day that about 600k mail in ballots were requested.

If true, then it’s game over, both Dems will win.

Ha. You had me fooled there for a second, Trumpkin.

You a-holes don't want a bridge at all. Status quo must serve you and damned be everyone else. You are happy to just have an obstructionist like Moscow Mitch at the helm.

People like you are the worst.
