How are you all embedding the tweets so neatly in these threads? Regardless, Nate silver just tweeted and I agree with him:

I don't think it would be crazy—from a purely strategic standpoint, notwithstanding the health risk—for Harris to put her foot down and say leaders need to take COVID seriously and she won't debate in person until Pence is out of the quarantine period.

Didn't Katie Miller have Covid earlier this year?! They are still acting like Covid is NBD and making fun of the Biden camp for wanting to take sensible precautions? I'm actively campaigning for Biden, and I'm going to lose all respect if the Biden camp doesn't start firing back at this nonsense.

That’s exactly what Pence is hoping she will do. He’s shaking in his shoes about having to face off with brilliant, fast-thinking Harris. If she pulls out, he can deflect on rescheduling. I really think she needs to go forward but with extreme precautions (plexiglass, no audience, etc.).

Pence is refusing to stand for the 90 minute debate. I wonder why? What's wrong with him that he cannot do this, when Biden, the frail man on death's bed stuck in the basement, has no problem doing this at all.
