That isn't for you to decide for anyone but yourself.

Someone who just moved here probably doesn’t realize how hellish that would be.
I would question the sanity of anyone driving that far for an 8 year olds soccer practice.

Again, not for you to decide by couching it in terms like "I question the sanity".

It is simple enough to stick to the facts and say Clifton to McLean is about 45 minutes in rush hour. Keep the value statements to yourself.

That's easily 75+ minutes one way during rush hour, depending on exactly where to where.

Yes, 75 minutes from Tysons/Mclean to Clifton during Rush hour would be 75 minutes but Clifton to Tysons/McLean is not 75 minutes.

And when they drive back home it would be later, certainly in the tail end of rush hour.

It isn't for you, we get it, but it just isn't your call to make.

Many people would question the sanity of living in this area at all, yet here we all are. I don't disagree that picking that club would be a logistical problem for ME but I'm not so arrogant to tell someone that they would be insane if they choose that club. I've seen lots of crazy commuting situations that I would personally not do but live and let live.
