Bernie is 79 going on 100.

We could have had someone younger, but it looks like name recognition is more powerful than physical strength.

Bernie, Bloomberg, and Warren are all mentally sharp in ways that Biden is not. Biden has at least one cringe-worthy mental slip every day he is out on the campaign.

The last four years have proven terrible gaffs and public speaking are not a deal breaker. Bottom line, I think Biden has the best chance to beat Trump.

If it were just "gaffes," that would be one thing. My impression is that it is much more serious than merely gaffes.

So by that reasoning he should choose Warren?

I don't think Stacey Abrams or Mayor Pete have the experience to run the country. Probably not Kamala either.

DP. Someone on the other thread mentioned Michelle and I thought it would be a sure fire win.

He has early onset dementia. Clearly. His supporters who are putting him through this are cruel.

And on a debate stage with Trump who would be more likely to cry, engage in violence or have an outright meltdown: Bernie or Biden? Bernie might seem angry but he does not seem mentally unstable. I can see Trump trolling Biden so much about his “crackhead son” that Biden completely looses it on national TV whereas Bernie laughs off any attack that’s tossed his way and pivots to his talking points.

If Biden is the nominee Trump will bully him into a breakdown. Watch.

He has a lot of money. But he is very short.

In a debate he will look like a child next to Trump.

lol I actually agree. Most American voters are not well informed. They are not rational. I can totally see many voters won't pick him because he doesn't look the part. Neither choice is appealing. But I am still going with Mike.

I mean by that line of argument, putting Bernie bear Trump will lead to cardiac arrest. Again.

I wish Biden had run in 2016. Hillary was too polarizing.

I just saw a YouTube ad with Tim Gunn endorsing him.
