What is your skincare routine? (looking for new products)

When not pregnant:

Morning:
Maelove Vitamin C serum
The Ordinary caffeine solution under eyes if puffy
Farmacy sunscreen (but I vary the sunscreen brand frequently)

Evening:
Wash with Drunk Elephant Juju bar
Prescription tretinoin
Maelove eye cream
Mixture of rosehip oil, argan oil, and Weleda sensitive almond cream

AM: Wash in the morning and with Cerave or Whole Foods copy of it. Moisturize with Oil of Olay with sunscreen

PM: Wash with same, Trentinoin, moisturize with Oil of of Olay Regenerist.

The only thing that got rid of my cystic acne was Accutane. Years later after one pregnancy, the cysts started coming back but not as bad and now I use Spironolactone. No more breakouts!

My 15 year old just started Spironolactone this week. How long did it take before you saw results?

Vanicream cleanser
Avene soothing eye cream
Cetaphil moisturizer
Cerave ultra light moisturizer with spf 30 (applied throughout the day)
Nars radiant concealer if needed
Maybelline great lash occasionally
Benefit Benetint occasionally
Fresh spf lip balm always


Night:
Vanicream cleanser
Avene soothing eye cream + Vaseline if skin feels tight
Sandwich cetaphil moisturizer-tretinoin-cetaphil
Taste beauty lip balm

I'm 51 and my skin is nonreactive and still a tad oily. The only wrinkles I have are some lines on my forehead.

In the morning I use Cerave cleanser and a Garnier serum/moisturizer/sunscreen combo. I use a Garnier caffeine rollerball to depuff my eyes.

In the evening I use.a Peter Thomas Roth cleansing bar, Paula's Choice niacinamide serum, and Roc retinol cream.

I have a Birchbox subscription so if there's something interesting in there I will add it to my routine. I'm not particularly brand loyal. Right now the above is giving good results, but I'm sure I'll switch it up.

-wash with Kiehl's daily cleanser after I workout. If I didn't workout that morning, then just a splash of water.

PM:

I'm almost 44 but people think I'm much younger. I've been using sunblock religiously since I was in college so that's probably the main reason rather than the creams/potions listed above. I was really into Drunk Elephant for a while and was using the entire line, but realized that most of it wasn't necessary.

2-3 months. I was originally put on 100mg/day but it made me a bit dizzy so I dropped back down 50mg/day and it was perfect. GL!

I've recently started using Naturopathica products and really love them so far (it's been about 6 weeks). I wash with the oat cleansing facial polish in the am and pm. I use the calendula essential hydrating cream and lavender protective moisturizer (with SPF) during the day and at night I use the passion fruit ageless eye serum and Vitamin C wrinkle remedy serum. I just purchased a pumpkin enzyme peel mask as well that I can't wait to try!

And for daytime, Doterra Anti-aging moisturizer (one in the tube). It cured my adult cystic acne. Not advertised as such, but it did it's amazing.

Once a week or so I use Dennis Gross AHA/BHA peel pads, occasionally I use Sunday Riley good genes and in both cases then skip the retinol
If I shower mid day and am not going back out I'll use Sunday Riley CEO cream

If Ordinary ever comes back with their Salicylic Acid in the dropper that will go back to the PM for spot treating too but alas...
