Sometimes giving someone a playlist is more of a gift of love than an expectation they’ll listen to it incessantly.
My guess is that this playlist will be something the OP’s daughter listens to when she’s feeling homesick. First semester of college is tough, as we all know, and I think this is a lovely, comforting and encouraging gift.

OP here -- Exactly -- I know she's not going to listen to it all the time, but I think just having it will be a comfort -- a reminder that we all love her and believe in her.

Again, thanks to everyone who has taken the time to make suggestions -- I've loved listening to your music!
