So Meg left the hospital a few hours after the birth. Just like her SIL. But H&M eluded paps. Was the place of birth known to outsiders beforehand? |
Nope, but boy did they try to find out. They would have been camped outside but there were too many hospitals to cover in addition to the Windsor entrances/exits (Meg got by them all anyway). Losers. |

They wanted privacy, and they are able to get it.
If I were them, I would have registered at two+ hospitals and told them if anything leaked, they’d go with a different hospital (or if after the fact, I’d bring a damaging report regarding the staff’s inability to keep patient info private). They can move in pretty quietly w/ covert security. It was fortunate to be in the middle of the night too. Then get out of there fairly quickly, since my med team can come with me. |

There are really only 2 hospitals he would have been born in - the Portland or St Mary's. But there's a garage entrance to the Portland which I'm sure they used and so they would have escaped paps that way. And it's v common in the UK to leave the hospital very quickly after birth. Of course she would have been able to stay for much longer if she wanted to, but they would let her out after a few hours if she wanted that. I'm a non-celeb and I left about 10 hours after my births, and it was only that long because I had to wait for all of the different medical professionals to come and see me and baby - she wouldn't have had to wait. |
Archie is an old Scottish name. It is not a diminutive of Archibald. The English added the -bald to the Scottish name. Try not to be provincial Americans. |
I think I love you. |
| Looking at it - what’s harry’s Last name. |
He doesn't have one because he's an HRH. Because Archie isn't an HRH and isn't (yet) styled with one of Harry's subsidiary titles, Archie has the last name of Mountbatten-Windsor. William's kids don't have last names because they are HRH Prince/ss. So they use the Cambridge title in place of a last name at school. |
| They do DNA testing before the certify the baby as a royal offspring. Hence the delay. |
| Good news that his 23+me came back affirmative. |
Archie is a diminutive of Archibald, an ancient Teutonic name meaning “truly brave.” Try not to be a moron. |
| Y'all really gonna argue about this? |
| I thought he was named after Archie the redheaded cartoon. |
Wait, who’s arguing what? |
