I thought Democrats can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can have a bigger discussion, for sure, but we should also take any small steps that contribute positively. |
Agree. His actions are a black mark on the Obama admin and Jones Day. I don’t get why his partners allow this. |
The first several comments were essentially saying so much is made in china already whats the big deal about this. Basically downplaying the role this company could play in spying. |
People are saying Trump isn’t going far enough. Which is a very valid argument on the merits. The Chinese government backwoods all their tech. But no one is saying Huawei should be on our networks. Trumpkins are such snowflakes. Take the win and quit whining. |
I am saying that is simply not the underlying reason for this action. That's the justification being given. It's a complete lie. Trump is unhappy with China for economic reasons. My reason for this is that is simply isn't effective to just ban Huawei. Any security professional is going to tell you that Huawei isn't the only Chinese company selling equipment in the US. Something meaningful would be to ban all Chinese firms from selling telco equipment in the US. And even then, the supply chains start in China. I don't see anyone worrying over the Chinese made smart-TVs in everyone's home. I guess that's fine. |
| If 5g networks can’t compete with intel-core chip S7 processors with advanced tech-spec hardware functions, and if processing speeds can’t reach 4785 MB per second with streaming speeds even higher, then why would Trump sign the order banning Huawei from 5g US networks. |
|
If he can do this why can't he ban Russia from US networks in retaliation for tampering with our election in 2016?
He can but he benefits from their interference. |
Ask your master to prove it in court, op. Otherwise it is just another rumor by the Trump and his cohorts. |
|
“The Trump administration began its review this week of what intel and military equipment and assets will have to be removed from the UK if it lets Huawei help build the country's 5G network.”

| Trump interfering with the economy again. |

THe Chinese have stolen U.S. technology to advance their own interests. Trump has worked with trade tariffs in order to stop this theft.
It is unfortunate that liberals don't bother to understand the deeper reasons for the tariffs and won't support our president. |
You welcome Chinese spying on and sabotaging our networks |
I'm not sure that's what would happen. All I know for certain is that if drumpf does it, I'm against it. |
You spout the party line well but that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. |
Trump votes. |
