Trump was a successful game show host.

Hitler analogies are for the simple AND they’re not effective anti-Trump rhetoric.

Regardless of their effectiveness, they are depressingly apt. And at this point, no rhetoric is effective, as Trump supporters uave proven they can't be persuaded. They would rather distort reality than acknowledge Trump is a bad leader.

The party of oppression and slavery likes to make with the hitler jokes. No self awareness at all.

Southern Strategy is the evolution of the GOP from the party of Lincoln to the party of slavery. So when you disparage the democrats of the 1850's you are really referring to the modern GOP. Congrats for the self-own.

+1
Good job failing history class, PP.

The scent of Desperation is so strong on this thread, you could bottle it. Thank you for making me smirk at this utter absurdity. Bless your heart.

Trump shares Hitler’s instincts and desires.

Fortunately, Trump is far less competent and disciplined.

If only the idiots who are hung-up on Trump-Hitler comparisons were as loud about post-2008 austerity being like post-WWI austerity, we wouldn’t be talking Trump.

I just read an article about how really terrible Hitler and his cronies were at governing

It was a little too familiar

Those who need help the most are the most likely to resist it. Ultimately, they must overcome their denial on their own.

I’ve also heard both were teetotalers. Obviously, teetotalers are likely to become mass murderers.

We can rest easy in the knowledge that Trump’s fast food and over cooked steak habits mean that unlike Hitler, he’s not a vegetarian.

And those who are ghouls think that everyone else wants to be ghouls, too. So they offer to help them become ghouls, and are confused when that help is refused. Because they don't realize they are ghouls. But they are, indeed, ghouls. With ugly, shriveled souls.

Yes, let’s completely derail the topic at hand to discuss “austerity” or more specifically things like banking reforms necessary at the time to rein in the mess of the 2008 crash which caused billions in losses. Were you sad to see the loss of interest only, negative amortization, or no doc no income loans and tightened access to credit from banks so they could loan money for janitors in Florida to buy $900,000 houses anymore?

Or maybe we can analyze how trump’s nationalist rhetoric is similar to hitlers again.
