Both programs are sending players to some of the best soccer programs and have their share of players in the YNT programs. Do the kids come with the skills, talent and experience and the coaches help guide them or do the coaches develop these players to that level?

Search your feelings. Deep down you know the answer.

Are you insinuating that this question belongs in Newbie Soccer Mom Mistakes ?

Mclean
BRYC
FCV

FCV is in the DA. PP asked about ECNL. Neither of those clubs have 06 groups that are going to compete at a regional level either. Good try!

Those are still the only clubs that will put out teams that can compete at a National level regardless of league.

Bethesda? VDA? MD United?

Loudoun 6-7-1
BRYC 5-7
Bethesda 4-7-2
MUFC 1-10-3 (only 1 win)
McLean 1-12-1 (only 1 win)
None of these teams having winning records within the ECNL

Can you get to VDA? They are 13-1

My DD plays for one of the teams listed.
I’ll put this in order of how I rate them. If VDA wasn’t so far. Their coaching staff is incredible.

VDA
McLean
Bethesda
Loudoun
MUFC
BRYC

VDA is good team followed by Loudoun in my opinion. Not sure where you live, but have you guys shown any interest in Loudoun, possible received an invite for the ID Sessions?

Parents would be stupid to remove their kids from VDA. VDA is clobbering those clubs.

Says some VDA parent

From 2005 down through the younger years VDA (girls) is one of the best clubs in the area. McLean, BRYC and FCV can rule the high school ages but as those girls move up and out you will see that VDA is going to make a mark

The score from the recent u13 game between BRYC and VDA was 1-2; hardly a “clobber”.

The VDA 04 team isnt bad either. They would be higher in the rankings if they didnt have as many ties. Their loses were close and their goal differential is a positive.

The good think about VDA is that they dont have the pressure of surrounding clubs. That helps cut down in player movement. Plus, the VDA girls play HS ball for some decent schools Iike Battlefield.

And can pull from Stafford, Fredericksburg,Winchester, culpeper, Spotsylvania, etc. they do not have to deal with the same issues FFX county clubs have to deal with.

Recent article about 3 VDA 04 players making the Battlefied HS team and contributing. For those that dont know, Battlefield is arguable the best in the state.

#1. Battlefield is one the best in the nation.
#2. You get one HS experience. It will NEVER be repeated.
#3. Ask around, kids like playing HS soccer.
#4. You probabley think college soccer is bad as well
