WWYD—reschedule or stick with plans?

Also depends on your relationship with your ILs. Would they really be ok watching your kid while you have alone time, or are they only doing it because it will be good for their son too?

I’d reschedule, and during the weekend of togetherness I’d build in a bit of alone time for each of us. And I’d make another weekend day an alone day for me and trade off with DH.

I’d reschedule because my dh is totally capable of watching the kids on weekends to give me alone time (and he frequently does.) So I’d be more interested in rescheduling for couple time.
