It means that either Cohen is cooperating or Cohen isn’t cooperating, but he loses the right to plead the 5th before a grand jury investigating Trump. Because a plea deal gets rid of appeal rights. Both a very bad for Trump and his little family of criminals. How bad will depend what, exactly, Cohen pleads too— taxi medallion fraud (does as bad for Trump) vs campaign finance fraud (Trump nukes California). |
