Is marrying a pretty blonde a status symbol?

Everyone is entitled to like what they want. I am a white, blonde woman and have always been attracted to hispanic and middle eastern men. Who cares. I like what I like. No one should make anyone feel bad for what they like. If a man only likes red heads, why should I care?

Why do you care that it's disturbing?

No, blonder, thinner, and tall. Not petite.

The OP actually specified "chunky".

Anyways: I definitely think marrying a very attractive woman is (for some) seen as a status symbol. But would not say hair color is a determining factor - between a guy married to an average looking, average weight woman who happens to be blonde and one married to a beautiful, fit woman with darker features, the second guy "wins".

Is this a thing? A status symbol?

So he wants a cash cow that is not attractive enough to be courted by guys that may actually like her for who she is and not for her money so she doesn't leave him. There are so many kept women why not be a kept guy?

Hair color is irrelevant, attractive, kinky and good in bed though......

Very few blondes are head turners in my opinion especially those who have been frying their hair since middle school.

Depends on your demographic. Where I come from, white blonde women are considered whores...too far off from the truth in reality. Only men from low class families marry them.

Why do men think blonde women are status symbols? Are they more beautiful? More expensive to keep bleaching and highlighting the hair?

The Donald's current wife is not blond, so blonde is apparently no longer a status symbol.

Go to a private Baptist school (I attended one) if you want rich, blonde, chunky, and not particularly bright.

NP/Different Poster - I'm Indian and I don't know why you would say such an idiotic thing but hey, it's a free country.

I've dated women of all colors and I married a white woman - a gorgeous brunette with slightly olive skin (yes, our kids are beautiful). Blondes never stood out to me over and beyond others.

+1. I tend to find women with darker hair and slightly exotic features more striking; blondes don't do it for me at all. But other people get to have different opinions!

Everyone has a type they're attracted to. That doesn't mean that type is the best; just the best for them.

My husband dumped a blonde girlfriend, then many months passed, then he and I started dating and ultimately married. I have brown hair.
