I loathe people who bring their kids to a nail salon. I am there to get away from mine. I am not interested in yours. Get a sitter.

I do most of my shopping when DC is napping in big jogging stroller. DC does not like running errands, shopping of any kind or when I have to go to the doctors.
DC will be in daycare from 9-12 starting September and I can get my things done during that time. I have also been wondering how hard would it be to find parents who would like to have a few hours to run errands or what have you while I watch their child and be that babysitter.
I have a part time job, but working at nights has its downside.

Most people just take their kids with them to run errands. I can't imagine being housebound with my child all day every day because said child doesn't like going out anywhere. You're in charge, PP, not your child. Kiddo has to do what you make him do.

Yes this, exactly. There is absolutely NO good reason for a 16 month old to be in a nail salon. That sounds like my worst nightmare.

Maybe if you get there right when it opens on a weekday.

Don't do it OP! I am a mom of 3 and my youngest is 20 months. If I were out getting myself pampered and your toddler was there I would be really annoyed.
