Honest question, but does that cover the contractors who work for the government in roles that used to be federal employees? I know the agencies I work with have a TON of people (I will make no judgements of their usefulness) who are present, have offices, appear to be federal employees but are contractors. |
Maybe he could if he didn't have such tiny hands... |
This is a good question (I'm a contractor, btw). What I see at my agency is that contractors often fill roles of multiple vacancies. For example, I am doing the job of two people who left the agency (both excellent people, by the way). So, the office saves money and ultimately, I can be fired at any time very easily, unlike federal workers. |

You could still find your way out, right? But you don't really want to. |
You're a little dense, aren't you. Actually, I have applied to emigrate to New Zealand. |
I heard yesterday that the federal workforce is the smallest it's been since Regan. Please post a link that supports your assertion. |
I'm all for securing the border but who is paying for this wall??? We were told Mexico would.
They better not touch ONE DIME of US taxpayer money. |
Like pollute the air and water, deny science... yea, that's the best thing for America. snort. |
We will pay and they will "reimburse" which of course will never happen |
Please explain to me how he is a "man of his word" if WE pay for the wall. I'll wait. |
What happened to Bush's and Obama's "virtual wall" / Secure Border Initiative to create an impenetrable cyber wall no human being could possibly cross?
oh wait - that was a huge failure: http://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-10-651T -Which left many areas of the border wide open- even to unaccompanied minors. Time to build a real wall. |
