All our bed linens are changed and washed twice weekly. |
My almost 11 DS changes Pjs every other day and we change his sheets about every 2 weeks. He sowers every night before bed but is a sweaty/hot sleeper. |
Sheets are changed weekely or by-weekly, depending on how busy we are. PJs changed weekly. They shower every night. |
14 years old, 2 weeks is fine (unless they start growing things!). My DS is 16, and EVERY WEEK the sheets are washed, PJ's - every 2 days! They get so smelly so quickly!!! |
Sheets every other week, no pajamas to wash. |
Having to wake him up if he overslept and seing his boxers on the floor beside the bed is how I know. |
Exactly. EVERY mom here who does the laundry would be lying if she says she doesn't "observe" things and doesn't take "mental notes" based on the rather intimate act of doing the laundry. I got my period when I was 13, and although I was enjoying certain activities nightly for about four years by then, the "evidence" of those activities, plus getting my period, got to the point where I decided it was high time to have more control over my privacy by doing my own laundry. Clothes, underwear, sheets, all of it. When my roommates at college still went home every weekend to have mom do their laundry, I was like, "Ewww! How didn't start doing it yourself like five years ago?!?" |
Sheets every 2 weeks when the cleaner comes. Kid doesn’t wear pajamas |
My kid sleeps in underwear. How do I know? He drapes himself in 3-4 blankets when he wakes up and makes his way to the kitchen. |
New pajamas every night. Sheets changed weekly. |
It surprises me when some of you talk about people doing “their” laundry. So wasteful! In our home, all sheets are washed together once a week, and we do laundry (all clothes together) twice a week. Our kids know pjs go in the hamper once a week. |
Not all of us have industrial sized washing machines. |
Everyone in my house does their own laundry so yes, it's all separate loads. I may do the sheets together but everyone does their own whenever it needs to be done. We do have a massive washer/dryer but each person fills up the load on their own. Not sure how you consider that wasteful but I'm sure you do. I'm ok with that. |
Shower at night. Sheets and pyjamas last 2 weeks problem. |
So wasteful of you! |
