$50 for high school and $100 for college grads. Sometimes I buy a water bottle w logo of college HS kid is going |
$25 is my standard graduation gift when I don't really know the grad but a gift is warranted. |
Nice idea but will they be hand washed while in a dorm? |
Whatever it is, please have your kids write thank you notes. |
I think we ended up doing $50 each. IIRC one of them sent a thank you note. Funny when I started reading the thread I was like wow this is so similar to the question I had a long time ago and then I looked at the date and realized it was my post! |
$25 is great. That's what we gave to our neighbor who graduated high school. She was excited we gave her something. When she leaves for college I will probably get her something she can use like a Target gift card. |
Since you don't know the girls, I'd just give them a card with a $20 bill inside. |
If you hosted a grad party and received a cash gift from your neighbors, but the next year their children are graduating and not having a party. i want to send a card but do I need to give a cash gift also? |
Did you mean to revive this 3 year old thread? |
at least 100$ |
7 year old thread....2016 |
I give $50 now. I gave $25 for years and about four years ago I leveled up. |
I go between $40-$50 for the neighbor kids. I’m friends with the parents and have watched them grow up. Times have changed in the last seven years. |
Well I guess it shows how people give more now |
I gave my son’s friends $23 this year for class if 2023. I’m not their aunt. |
