| This poor woman was murdered plain and simple. No doubt about it. |
Yes I am suicidal and I always have been. I guess I just assumed others felt how I do about getting arrested or getting a ticket. I think of those things as deal breakers |
| Wow! As a AA woman. I'm afraid. Slippery slope. I feel as if we are the next target. |
| So sad for this young lady.... |
Seek help. |
I assumed she didn't commit suicide and that she was injured either during the arrest or later on and then succumbed to her injuries. Terrible. I am so sad for her family and friends. |

My theory is that she did commit suicide, because she wanted to be a martyr. No facts to back that up just a crazy theory.

| Is it normal to be held for 3 days after those sort of charges, had a bail been set? |
|
This link tells a bit more about how she died
http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Relatives-question-death-of-woman-found-hanging-6388529.php I'm surprised that she hadn't been bailed out. How much money would it take to secure 5k in bail? |

| Did the police stage a hanging after they found her dead? |
Fun little detail before you jump to conclusions: Mathis, the district attorney, said video footage outside the cell did not show anyone entering the cell Monday morning. |

From the Houston Chronicle article:
In Harris County, she was arrested in May 2010. Harris County court records show she was charged with driving under the influence and for possessing a small amount of marijuana. The DWI charge was later dismissed and she spent 30 days in jail for the possession charge. She was also charged in 2009 with possessing drug paraphernalia, for which she received a deferred adjudication. On her Facebook page, Bland posted several photos and videos about her experiences and the struggle African-Americans face dealing with racism. In one posted in March 2015, she discussed struggling with depression and post traumatic stress. Seems she was a troubled woman with a history of substance abuse. But yeah, keep speculating about TX and officers.... |
Did the officer in North Charleston shoot that guy on purpose and then walk over to plant a gun on him? |
