One of my best friends tried six times and even with doctor's care could not get past the 3rd month - and it was due to the drug her mother had taken. Sorry I can't remember its name. I did ask my own mother if she had taken it when pregnant with me and she had not. There was a lot of subsequent litigaiton about it. I'm sure someone here will remember the drug. Hugs.

Thalidomide?

no. Tragic, but completely different.

Bendectin? It's back on the market now.

Nice work having all the suggestions that your thinness may be contributing to your infertility removed. Who are you, Giuliana Rancic?

She is too young. I was born in 1968 and that was the last year they used it in the US. I also don't know the name but when doctors see my cervix and the year I was born they always ask.

It may be DES. It wasn't completely banned in the US until many years later, late 1990s', believe it or not.

So sorry OP. I second what others have said about progesterone supplements. I have a friend who had 6 miscarriages. She got pregnant again and tried progesterone supplements. That seemed to do the trick. I also agree with others about taking a break to let your body (and mind) heal. Good luck.

Thalidomide was never approved for use in pregnant women by the FDA. It was only approved for use in the UK / Europe.
