Fun but non-obtrusive background music for dinner party?

Pandora is much better than regular radio, with much less annoying ads. Or no ads, if you buy premium.

I have Pandora too, but prefer the radio personally or I Heart Radio on my Roku. Despite picking my artists on Pandora, it seems to play lots of songs I hate and have to skip.

If ads are just a nonstarter for you, then I would do the cable channel with top 40. that has no ads.

Doesn't Pandora time out after a while? I think IHeartRadio plays continously. If you have cable, there's always the music choice channels.

I've always had luck with down-tempo electronic music.... Think of Thievery Corporation as old school inspiration.... Plenty of newer stuff that's good as well.
