Cheapest grocery store for organic food and for food without preservatives?

Yes! Markets are good on price if you buy the stuff that comes in the bulk bins. They have organic milk and some meat and produce, although I think you get better quality milk/dairy at the farmer's market (but more $$$).

I am a MOMs fan. Consistently food selection, produce, prices, etc. I find I spend less at MOMs then WF. Perhaps all of WFs pre-prepared stuff puts me over he edge.

Ugh, that should have read consistently GOOD selection.

Whole Foods frozen organic veggies are from China. They are "certified" as being "verified" by a Chinese company. There are no actual checks. I doubt very much of it is organic. Trader Joes stopped carrying "certified" organic Chinese frozen produce for this reason.

yes I agree b/c most ppl who shop at Giant do not buy organic so the turnover is low and they dont specialize in those foods. the best places to go are MOMs, Tjs and Whole foods for prices.

This does not seem to be true, at least according to my broccoli and spinach in the freezer I just checked. Do you have a source?

This USED to be true until they did a piece on it on the news and Whole Foods changed their policies. I always check the country of source on ALL my veggies and fruits.
