For how many years did your kids do scouts?

This is hilarious. You want your kid to do activities but you do not want to help. High school sports, theater, band etc all need parent volunteers.

How long they stay probably depends on how much they enjoy the program and the opportunities. Different Troops are more active then others and have different areas of interest. It is encouraged to look at many Troops to find one that your Scout thinks is a good fit and it is ok to move if it turns out the current Troop isn't a good fit.

This is pretty much the same as my son, but I don’t understand the question.

How long did my kid so soccer? One year - he hated it. I mean you do it as long as your kid is having fun.🤩

Hahaha. Pretty much everything in high school requires volunteers! I enjoy it because it is a great way to build community.
