Are there periodicals you read about your industry that you recommend for people to read to understand more about the industry? Example, Skift in the travel industry.
Are there things going on in other industries that makes sense for your industry? For example, I heard the CEO of Taco Bell speak recently and he mentioned getting influence from Apple product releases for Taco Bell.

Basically be authentic. Don’t just pick a book because it feels like you’re supposed to pick a book.
Second the recommendation to post the blogs/periodicals/columnists you follow. For me, Corporatecounsel.net is great for corporate law news so that would be something I might share in your position. Or even if it was a specific post you read like hey here is this great article on our industry that I thought was informative.
