Evans Farm in McLean

Much of McLean Hamlet is very close to the Dulles Toll Toad if you’re worried about car exhaust.

Does anyone remember eating at Evans Farm Inn? Sigh.

It's too bad they turn all these pretty places into ugly townhome communities.

We ate there! Young kids loved it. The listing OP linked is odd. That tile square and the long room with built in sauna style seats, black toilet. Some Evans Farm resales are perfectly fine and move in ready even if you don't redo stuff. The one OP posted is not in that category.

Condos and Mclean townhouses are hot spots for down sizing whether it's the size of the prior house or the lot. Can walk to Giant, Balduccis, Lewinsville, Nice in Evans Farm goes contingent in less than 1 month. A townhouse complex on the other side of Dolley Madison [not walkable like Evans] is you have to move on it as soon as listed.

The worst intersection in McLean is Balls Hill and Georgetown Pike, near Cooper MS. Balls Hill and Old Dominion is almost as bad. If we’d known how awful the traffic is near Cooper we would have bought on the other side of McLean closer to Falls Church.

Agree on both of these. Very excited for the 495Next project to come to an end to reduce the Balls Hill congestion.
