| Do you wear sunscreen everyday that you go outside? |
This. My doctor only removes things to make sure they are not cancerous. No other fancy, ripoff potions or procedures. |
I am 68, fair skinned and have had none of this. I have been told I look good for my age. But I am aging…because I am alive. |
Ok! So how do you take care of your skin going forward? What do you use? |
Yes, on my face and arms. |
| Does microneedling help |
Most important thing is sunscreen, everyday, year round. The spots, the wrinkles, alligator texture, all of it is sun damage. On a day I am not outside, I use moisturizer after cleansing (like after a shower). That is it. |
| Doctor Rogers moisturizer and night treatment. Pavise sunscreen - which heals sun damaged skin. Look it up. Amazing product. |
There is no externally applied product that will “heal” sun-damaged skin. You can speed up turnover of top skin layers with retinols or Retin-A and to some extent with AHA products. Sun damage is not in the top skin layers. It requires procedural intervention to alter it (if you WANT to alter it. This is not a mandatory endeavor!) |
I've been using Pavise for a few months, and my sun damage spots have lightened up. Check it out. The science is new. https://pavise.com/products/dynamic-age-defense-spf/dynamic-age-defense?srsltid=AfmBOoqabaVVWSA3ud_hBDmw2B1Tg_hy5d5-lFWR8PwqR5HQogyZNOib |
