I’m so excited! It’s my favorite.

Hot take from a former Chicago resident: Chicago deep dish isn't great. It sits in your stomach like a lead weight. Pizza should be foldable.

Deep dish is sooo greasy. I’ll go to Giordano’s once but that will rid my cravings for another 10 years.

I love the food at Inferno, but the whole line business is such a pain (and once when we went they mismanaged the line, which was stressful). The end result is that I rarely feel like going. Just let me make a reservation, and I’d be much happier.

We like 2 Amys, AP Pizza and Piccolo Piatti (the latter more because it is decent and convenient to us).

Chicago DH thinks Giordanos is disgusting even for deep dish, which is inherently kind of awful, so that's a no.

In addition to Andy’s, wise guys (when I only want a couple slices). You have to work a little hard, but great pizza can be found.

Tony’s NY Pizza in Fairfax

+1 Valentino’s in Alexandria for NY style. Nothing comes close

+1 to Valentino's.

We live in Fair Lakes now, though, so don't get there as often. Tony's NY in Fair Lakes is fine but we like King's New York Pizza off Lee Highway/Jermantown better. Haven't seen that mentioned.

~ grew up on Philly/Jersey shore pizza
