I’m so excited! It’s my favorite. |
Hot take from a former Chicago resident: Chicago deep dish isn't great. It sits in your stomach like a lead weight. Pizza should be foldable. |
+1 |
+1 Deep dish is sooo greasy. I’ll go to Giordano’s once but that will rid my cravings for another 10 years. |
I love the food at Inferno, but the whole line business is such a pain (and once when we went they mismanaged the line, which was stressful). The end result is that I rarely feel like going. Just let me make a reservation, and I’d be much happier. |
| We like 2 Amys, AP Pizza and Piccolo Piatti (the latter more because it is decent and convenient to us). |
Chicago DH thinks Giordanos is disgusting even for deep dish, which is inherently kind of awful, so that's a no. |
| UNO’s, there’s still a few around |
| In addition to Andy’s, wise guys (when I only want a couple slices). You have to work a little hard, but great pizza can be found. |
| Tony’s NY Pizza in Fairfax |
| +1 Valentino’s in Alexandria for NY style. Nothing comes close |
|
+1 to Valentino's.
We live in Fair Lakes now, though, so don't get there as often. Tony's NY in Fair Lakes is fine but we like King's New York Pizza off Lee Highway/Jermantown better. Haven't seen that mentioned. ~ grew up on Philly/Jersey shore pizza |
| Andy's and Timber |
| Pete's |
The potato pesto pizza is amazing! |
