I watched it and, while I liked the performances, I thought it was a pretty mediocre series overall. Just grim and gross, with too many innocents harmed. Ooh many may have the "beast within," so insightful and edgy. /s

Brittany Snow has certainly grown very gracefully into a different kind of role from her teen comedy and pitch perfect years

She inhabits being a beautiful ~40 really well, she looks great without looking like she's gone to a ton of effort to keep looking like she did in previous decades

The title "The Beast in Me" also makes me wistful for the 2 seasons of "Wolf Like Me" ... that was such a great series

I kind of like that actually. She moves somewhere else and finds a new adversary, her outlook is now a little bit different and more positive, new love interest...I'd watch with a good villain!

Nope. It was not.

Before seeing this, I probably wouldn't have believed that anyone could create a scene in which Matthew Rhys was not hot. But they went and did it.

Yes, it was predictable. The curveballs were predictable as well. This probably could have been a movie instead of a series.
