I saw a chart that was airport specific. Newark had the most cancellations yesterday (like 26%). The DC airports were quite low - like 3-4%. |
It's in the NYTimes. I can't seem to paste it in. Today's cancellation stats: DCA: 7.2% Dulles: 5.3% BWI: 2.5% |
| My LAS to DCA flight Monday afternoon just got cancelled. Lots of cancellations here at LAS. |
| Anyone with insights into Cleveland / Detroit to/from Washington? |
You can use Flightaware to look for specific routes, it will show you all the flights and their status. For instance, looks like 1 of tomorrow's DCA-CLE flights is cancelled. https://www.flightaware.com/live/findflight?origin=KCLE&destination=KDCA |
| So, tomorrow … more chaos than the next few days or just same. |
|
Probably more- will get worse as more controllers call.out sick. Won't get back to normal until a few days after the shutdown ends |
| This is so far down on the thread list now. I’m still not convinced the issues are as big as the news has made it out to be as far as travelers. It seems the small percentage of people who are impacted by ATC reductions and resulting logistical issues (not plane or weather issues) are pretty inconvenienced but must are flying same as usual. |
| Has anyone been thru TSA at IAD lately? |
Yes, on Friday at 7:15 am. Precheck, only a few people in line. |
Thanks |
| SFO to BWI cancelled before flight today United. |
| I flew from BWI to Denver on Friday and returned on Tuesday. Everything was fine and on time. |
