I can't believe his wife would consider taking him back. That's the most bonkers thing here.
I feel bad for the kids. I feel worse that their mother might take their father back. |
Well he ran AWAY from her, so not unusual she might want him back. I'd be more surprised if he wanted to go back to her. |
The latter part is true, but it ignores that the premise is flawed. We didn’t “let” men run the world. They are physically the stronger of the two sexes on average and at the extremes so in a physical challenge to the male authority that would be required if women chose not to “let them” run the world, women would lose. Easily. So the fact that women have rights at all is because we have persuaded the men that it’s fair to do so and we have used our collective powers of persuasion and influence to make the case for it. But let’s not be naive—-if tomorrow men collectively decided that women should not be permitted to exercise any rights, it would not be a matter of us “letting them” take those rights away. They are simply physically stronger and could take everything by force if they wanted to. So I don’t think men such as bad as you think they do. At least for the moment. |
Sounds kinda hot. But men today are weaklings and simps and won't become that way ever again until society collapses completely. |
Omg this whole detour started with a veiled complaint that the woman was misidentified as Russian because she speaks Russian. English is a global language of trade and media. Russian is not. The woman's actual ethnicity and country of citizenship are identified multiple different ways. But she's not been identified as Georgian as the original complainer implied. So all these comments are dumb. Like Ryan himself. It doesn't particularly matter where this Katya originated. Former Soviet Union or satellites. |
DCUM likes to find Russians behind every tree. |
| I read the whole thing. The craziest part of this to me (besides the wife being willing to take him back, which is BONKERS) is that he came so, so, so close to getting away with it. If it wasn’t for that lake guy being so persistent he would have gotten away with it. |
I know of a man who disappeared about 100 years ago. His son continued to look for him throughout his adult life. The son had access to resources (i.e. private investigators, etc) because he was very wealthy. I wonder if he could be found today now that so much information is on databases. |

Glad he’s just a sucker and not a killer. A lot of men kill their wives instead. This guy just made a fool of himself instead. Whew.
Pretty sure one of these ho scammers drained my deceased FIL’s bank account. |
They don’t represent all men anymore than Melania represents all women. |
We don’t have to resort to hand to hand battle anymore. There are tools that one can buy very easily, thanks to the republicans, to even up that playing field. Don’t get too freaking cocky. |
Just go to r/genealogy. People are uncovering all sorts of stuff about 100 years ago because when the men ran away, they usually resumed a sex life and had kids. By process of elimination, with a DNA connection, if you know the full family that was left behind, you can conclude that so-and-so on the other side of the continent was the missing guy. A lot of times they didn't change their names because of low risk of being found. So there are documents available like bigamist marriage certificates, birth records, Censuses, property records, etc. I know a lot more about my dad's died young grandparents than he did. Because he wasn't curious and I have Ancestry.com and Newspapers.com. I have direct quotes and pictures and other things he never had, directly from public sources that anyone can get from home now. |
His wife filed for divorce in December 2024. |
| I listened to the whole thing. He’s so pathetic, left his family just like his father did. |
She had been hoping against all reason that this loser might come back. |
