New neighbor is a drug addict

Tell him it stinks and ask him to use a vape

I bet they have an amazing pantry. Or serious DoorDash budget.

If you want to be petty, you can call CPS and they’ll investigate. Happened to a friend of mine.

It's legal, isn't it?

I am for medicinal uses of marijuana, but making it legal for everyone will just show the world that actually, smoking weed IS bad for your health, and shouldn't be allowed.

We're currently in a huge medical experiment. Try to be part of the control group!

We’re going to see a huge uptick in mental illnesses triggered by cannabis use, especially in young people. I have a 24 year old niece who developed schizophrenia, triggered by excessive use in her teens. It’s really sad.

I smoke two joints in the morning
I smoke two joints at night
I smoke two joints in the afternoon
It makes me feel all right

Your neighbor is an addict, and that's sad. It's also none of your business. People get to choose to be addicts.

If the smell is bothering you, get him one of these: https://smokebuddy.com/ Vapes are even worse for your health (and harder to quit), so please never encourage anyone to use those things.

Cannabis-induced psychosis is becoming more and more common. High-THC strains and easy access to them, especially in edibles and vapes, means we're not even started on the uptick of mental health issues.

I'm pro-legalization and I support medicinal cannabis. I just wish there was WAY more information provided to people who choose to use. There's this mentality that "it's just weed" or that somehow it's not addictive, and it's dead wrong. Unfortunately, because most cannabis users don't bottom out the way alcoholics or heroin users might, people don't realize they have a problem until they REALLY have a problem.

The mental impact of long-term cannabis use can be severe, and recovering takes a long time (much longer than recovery from alcohol or opiates, IME). Messing with your neurotransmitters isn't a great idea.

Kind of, and social consequences are a large part of it, but the real reason is that we accept and even encourage caffeine addiction because it's believed to increase productivity. Capitalism is fine with that.

"If you want to understand a society, take a good look at the drugs it uses. And what can this tell you about American culture? Well, look at the drugs we use. Except for pharmaceutical poison, there are essentially only two drugs that Western civilization tolerates: Caffeine from Monday to Friday to energize you enough to make you a productive member of society, and alcohol from Friday to Monday to keep you too stupid to figure out the prison that you are living in." -Bill Hicks

Then why isn't methamphetamine legal?

Check if they have a mortgage first. If he does, then getting him fired might make him lose his house and have to move away. Of course who knows what the next neighbor might be like.

JFC you people are sociopaths. You are actively trying to ruin a man’s life because he is…minding his own business and not trying to harm you. Insane.

CPS is not your personal grudge strike force. Taking resources away from actual abuse just to harass an innocent man? That’s just evil.

Regular cannabis users barely get high. You didn’t know that?

Don’t be daft. You know there’s a difference between drinking coffee and being drugged and intoxicated. Plus, I can’t smell your cup of coffee across 2 yards or through walls. There is a difference.
