Boycott SHEIN!

Anonymous
Their merchandise is cheap crap made with explloited labor. Everyone knows that. How else would the products be that cheap?

Anyone who buys from Shein doesn't care about ethical workplaces. They just want cheap stuff.

Same as Temu.

And a lot of the same Shein / Temu products are sold through Amazon.

Yeah, even my teen daughter who earns an average of $100 a month won't buy from them. Never has.

Right now on the French news: investigators found firearms on sale on the French website of Shein. Completely illegal in France. I really hope it all gets shut down. We don't need that crap in France.

Guns are NOT illegal in France. I lived in a small town called Losse near Bordeaux for two years and the owners of the farm where I worked (ferrier/trainer) had more guns than they had teeth. We would shoot for hours on Sunday afternoons. I grew up in northern Virginia and these people had more guns than anyone I knew growing up. Even machineguns from WWII.

French PP here. I did not say that. Selling guns on a website like Shein is ILLEGAL. My family hunts, on horse back and on foot. Please know the law where you live, PP. Otherwise you can get into trouble.

NP.

Yes. Agree with you!

Too many stupid Americans believe the myth that all guns are banned in the EU. This is not true! Many French people choose to own a firearms. It is quite common. It is more common in the countryside. But of course, it must be registered and you first have to get the training.

Germany has the even higher rate of owning the firearms. They regulate it strictly of course.

Anonymous wrote:French person here. It's gross. I saw the description of the dolls on French TV and it's clearly aimed at pedos. A buyer was arrested yesterday when the warehouse employees recognized what was in the package

The first Shein store opened today in Paris. Shein must have paid a heck ton of money to have a spot in the capital. They should never have been allowed.

I have to wonder, what law exactly was broken? Is there really a law saying "thou shall not buyeth sexxo dolls that appear to be made in the image of smoller sizeth humans"?

Seems better to let the pervos have their dolls than to abduct the real thing.

Seriously. Go buy your cheap Chinese made crap somewhere else.
Anonymous
Why are you buying this crap to start with OP?!
Anonymous
It's just a Chinese Amazon site. Most of the cheap crap you buy comes from China. A country with horrific human rights abuses, terrible working conditions for many and a criminal lack of environmental controls. You aren't taking the high road by not purchasing from Shein or even Temu. Not if you still buy from Amazon, Walmart or most anywhere.

Both of those countries are crashing and becoming third world countries fast. Shame. France used to be so nice 30 years and more ago.

In many jurisdictions, fictional child pornography is illegal.

Not Shine.

0% of teens say this correctly.
And yet they love to show off their fit.

It's HE-IN, according to OP.

So are cabbage patch, little orphan annie, and jr. barbie dolls verboten in those jurisdictions also because they look young?

And the buyers are looking for cheat knock offs.

French PP again. You don't get it... I saw the dolls on TV. They were anatomically correct in every way, and the item description highlighted the genital and secondary sexual characteristics of the dolls. They were modeled to look like very cute preteen girls, with accessories like teddy bears, etc. It was incredibly perturbing to see!!!!!!

The French TV presenter called it pedo-pornographic. And that's really what they are. So they are illegal.

Sounds like they want to encourage real kids being molested then.
Makes sense, since that makes the system more money with therapy, arrests, trials, prisons for profit, etc.
