How about you look at what Democratic states like NY, Illinois, and California have previously done with gerrymandering? The GOP is just responding to that.

And, FWIW, check out what Fairfax County supervisors did to Herrity--and he still won.

It is what it is. The dems tried to pass legislation to mandate independent state commissions with guidelines nationally how to redraw fair districts and of course, the GOP opposed.

The GOP is doing everything it can to ensure it stays in power - trying to get the Voting Tights Act overturned, gerrymandering while explicitly stating they’re doing it to capture more seats, and bombarding social media and sites like DCUM with posts to try to convince Dems to abstain from voting altogether, split tickets, write in 3rd parties or leave certain races (like VA Atty General) blank. Dems and all people of good conscience have to stop fretting and start fighting back. Newsom and Pritzker are examples of fighting back effectively and we need more of this action, not less.
