| They will end up reclassifying it down so that they don’t have to report to federal or state government. |
Abuse of a minor needs to be reported to the state. Anyone who works at that school is a mandated reporter and they know it. |
Sounds like you’re chomping at the bit and no one will give you what you want. Take a hike. |
What does reclassifying down mean?? |

+1. I have no idea what happened at Oakton but I'm a teacher and have seen this happen multiple times. |
+2 This happened to our neighbor’s child. Years of therapy and she is finally doing better in college but it is both horrifying and common. |
| There is an ongoing investigation. No one has been arrested and coaches are not at fault. The allegations are that some players on the team sexually assaulted one boy on the team. |
| Wow! How come this is the only place I'm hearing about this? How do you know the coaches are not at fault? |
Yeah! How come? |

Wow, that’s horrible. So there is a cover up of some sort going on. |
| oh my god. |
|
From what I've heard, it's not sexual assault per se but unfortunate, ridiculous horseplay (as 9th grade boys do...SIGH) involving a specific body part. It's stupidity, for sure.
That said, I, too, would have reported it or would have told my son to report it to the coaching staff to prevent a recurrence. |
