| Eww! These relationships shouldn’t be called marriages. They need to come up with another word. |
You people can’t be satisfied. Don’t come up with new pronouns! That’s too hard for me! Don’t use “marriage!” Make a new word! |
But, I think the "who cares" still stands. Their marriage (sham or not) not yours. |
And, still, does it impact anybody but the two of them if they aren't having sex with the person of their choice? |
Why shouldn't they be called marriages? Many marriages are already sexless, I don't see why a lavender marriage should get called out as different. They were adults going in. I went into my marriage knowing ... exactly nothing about how the future would roll out. Let's let everybody else make their own decisions and leave them alone. |
Then why are they married? If it has no impact, they wouldn’t marry each other. |
Because marriage is already defined, as created by God, as a union between one man and one woman. |
So you, some internet rando, know what two strangers want better than the two strangers, both adults, who got married because they wanted to? The arrogance is only matched by the ignorance. |
FIFY, and don't let Jesus catch you judging! |
Exactly! |
The need to control others is anti-Christian AF. |
What shall we call marriages between people who have gone through conversion therapy? Or Republicans who don’t believe in being gay, so they marry someone of the opposite sex.? |
Isn’t a gay man and a straight woman still a man and a woman? Besides, God never said that, but that’s another story |
It doesn't impact others. |
Agreed. |
