Canadians from Ontario and Quebec are perceived as being particularly rude, especially those from large cities. The idea that they are nice is some weird myth. It goes beyond passive-aggressive, which they are, it is just aggressive, nasty, and narcissistic behavior from regular, not rich Canadians in those cities. Their own offices, such as dentists, vets, doctors, have messages for callers and posters in their offices, that no rude and agressive behavior will be tolerated. As in "If you are rude, raise your voice, or unpelasant, we will remove you from our client list and never see you again." Walmart has those signs at the entrance. Now, just ask yourself, why would so many businsses need those signs and messages? |

The nicest, most helpful neighbor I've ever had was Canadian. I think that's the only Canadian I've ever known well enough to tell you if they were nice or not.
The video isn't what OP says anyway. RR doesn't "explode". He seems annoyed but polite and I do wonder what the disagreement was over. Maybe Levy saying something about the whole Lively/Baldoni thing? But Levy seems very nice as well, so it's hard to imagine him saying something that provocative. I don't know. Maybe they have some professional conflict none of us are privy to. But RR doesn't do anything there that would get even a regular person fired from a job, so I'm not sure what the controversy is. |
