Darwinism in action.

Most people here know what’s good for you and what’s not. If you don’t, start learning how to maximize health. |
And where do you put vaccines and raw milk between those two choices? |
You do you. If you think vax and raw milk are good for you, do it. Most of us eventually reap the consequences/benefits of our choices. Good luck! |
Indeed. Although it's sad when uninformed choices are forced on children, leading to preventable illnesses. |
This. Obesity was mostly for older men and women tied to aging and moving less. When kids start out as overweight and obese teens, the health issues related to obesity take their toll at earlier ages. |
By 2050, and if trends continue, 57% of all kids aged 2-19 years old will be obese! https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/new-pediatric-guidelines-on-obesity-in-children-and-teens-202301242880 |
| It's freaking shameful. All of it. American healthcare, how Americans acting like we had no pandemic, pandemic deniers, any and all of it. We had more deaths because we're collectively stupid. |
Speak for yourself. If I listened to the science people like dr Mengele at nih, I’d be as sick as most people here. |
These is exactly what they want. Skyrocketing profits forever. |
And plump, juicy organs to harvest, right? |
What are you talking about? https://www.fda.gov/food/food-ingredients-packaging/generally-recognized-safe-gras |
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Once labeled GRAS, the FDA can't regulate it. You should be asking yourself who determines GRAS. Hint, it ain't the FDA: https://www.alston.com/en/insights/publications/2025/03/hhs-self-affirmed-gras-pathway-food-ingredients It's the food companies themselves. And why is this? Because of the sick US capitalist system that allows for corporate lobbying dollars to corrupt our entire government. |
DP. That's not accurate. FDA can regulate substances that vendors have claimed are GRAS. But until or unless they do so, the manufacturer does not need to obtain FDA approval to use the substance. |
Again, you need to do homework. Once an ingredient gets the GRAS label, which the food industry itself is able to self determine, companies are not required to report the ingredient to the FDA. How is the FDA going to regulate something that no one even reports is in foods? Notification is entirely voluntary. |
