just googled him/her/zer and i can't tell if it's a man or a woman.

Most of us are probably from generations for which that is a drawback. Apparently it’s a big plus these days.

In the 80s it was a big plus too. Nothing new.

Prince, George michael, River Phoenix all had somewhat fem looks and were considered hot. It may be more extreme now but ehatever. Young girls historically have liked more soft fem looks anyway — it’s less rheeatenijg and more approachable than a very alpha masculine look for a guy.

River Phoenix wasn't really girly, he just died really young so never got to be manly looking. The other two were definitely metros and fem, and gave many girls the ick back then.

+1 no one thought Prince was “hot” by any means.

But are they looking at their old stuff? Like Leo in Titanic not current day bloated Leo right? Like when I was a teen I could think Brando was super hot in On the Waterfront but would not have thought fat godfather Brando was hot. Or young Cary grant but not old grandpa Cary grant from his last couple of movies.

they are (were) all cisgender white males. Ugh !

I chuckled. Hollyweird sure has changed from the golden era of the 1930s-1950s.

David Bowie, Duran Duran

All the 80s hair bands and glam rock too, were all girly looking dudes. Axl, Brett, etc. Not Alice Cooper or Ozzy though. They always looked rough.

JJ, according to 13 DD
Rafe, accord her friends (which I do not get at all: villain and a dull one)

John B from outer banks!! Rafe a close second in the later seasons. But John B is adorable.

How old are they?

I think the male lead in To All The Boys I Loved Before had a moment—for a few years he was starring in all the Netflix romantic comedies.

We’re not allowed to be attracted to cisgender white males because…you say so? Lol

LOL. Maybe you need to revisit the "drawback" comment in light of the hair bands of the 80's: makeup, long hair, earrings. Poison's first album cover was so female and women LOOOOOOOVED them.

lol, are you an old man yourself? No, they don’t like older men. There’s literally hundreds of TikToks where teen girls rate celebrity men from the 90s/00s and they all rank them a 3-4.

The closest thing nowadays to a teen heartthrob are KPop stars like BTS.

But now teen girls gravitate more to Influencers. I follow some MaskTok, BikeTok, and Cosplay guys, and most of their following are teenage girls. Those guys are usually in the early-mid 20s range.

Are you being ironic? Because there were a lot of closeted gay men in Hollywood back in the day. Do you not remember Rock Hudson?

I actually had a friend in high school who did. Purple Rain times. I didn't understand it, but to each his/her own.

19 and my teen relatives like Conrad Fisher well, that’s the character name from the summer. I turned pretty.

They absolutely love young president know, from ballad of songbirds and snakes

They love the actor and I think this is weird, from quiet Place day one and he’s also in Stranger Things as that super senior guy I can remember his name… But I’ve seen him for a long time in British dramas and he always plays a little bit of a creepy guy?

They sort of love, Timothy Chalamet, but they’re a little young for him and it’s a little bit of a joke.

They love, Tom Holland, a.k.a. Spider-Man

When I show old videos, they die over Heath ledger, oh and a huge one for middle schoolers is all the guys from the outsiders. They really love pony boy, Curtis, a.k.a. Ralph Macchio.
