The header says admitted but the text says “Here is a snapshot of the middle 50% of the admitted Class of 2029, students who enrolled in fall 2025.” Maybe you need to take time to read. |
Look again please. |
Check your math. 23.4% domestic students of color. There’s also 6.4% international students and I’m sure some of them are white but also sure not all of them are. So somewhere between 70.2% and 76.6% white. |
The joy of ending dei. Hopefully they can get it up to 80% in the near future. |
How much lower? |
Have you thought that maybe Emory uses Asians as backup students that's why they're being pushed to their Oxford campus? How cocky of you to think its the other way around. |
It won’t get any lower because the pp is wrong, the stats are for the enrolled class. |
No it’s admitted applicants enrolled in Fall 2025…it is the freshman profile. |
No, here is the exact language: Here is a snapshot of the middle 50% of the admitted Class of 2029, students who enrolled in fall 2025. |
| Who cares? If you don’t want your kid at Emory, then don’t send them there! No need to put down any school. Emory may be your kid’s safety or your 1991 safety but it could be somebody else’s dream. |
NP. That's an error by the admissions office. August would be VERY early for enrolled student stats to be published for virtually any college. Emory only stopped pulling from the waitlist a few days ago. |
This. They measure based on roster of students after orientation. Whoever thinks this is enrolled stats is misguided |
| Emory’s stats just arent that impressive. 80% of class in top 10% class rank. Average gpa sub 3.8. Not exactly the best students |
What school does your kid go to? Either way GPA is meaningless in today's America. Being in the Top 10% just means who cheated more with AI. GPA avgs have risen as test scores have dropped. Whether this is admitted or Enrolled its impressive nonetheless as enrolled stats dont drop much at most schools. The schools 25th is higher than Every school in the south's median thats not Duke, Vandy, or Rice. Its very much those 4 schools and then the others. |
