Start checking the local VA and MD tournaments for "applied" teams. You can pribably figure out what your team is doing at least for the first tournament that way.

I did that (thank you for the suggestion). Our team isn't showing up any where including tournaments the same age/club played in last year.

registration is closed for loudoun premier cup. so you can cross that one off the list if they aren't showing up there.

Did you check OBGC? Copa Rayados? Loudoun? Those are some of the bigger local tournaments in August.

If you look closely you’ll see they have plenty of openings for applied teams. They just closed registration and probably just haven’t added all teams that have applied yet. It’s a lot of work organizing a tournament. I have zero connection to Loudoun but when DS was young I volunteered to help with registration for the Potomac Memorial Tournament and it was a huge undertaking with lots of volunteers and moving parts. I’m not going to panic yet.
