Buti t sure got people talking! Which is Netflix' whole goal: stay relevant.
Thanks, OP. You're helping Meghan out! And Netflix. |
I didn’t watch the show but her body language in clips looks like she has literally never set foot in a kitchen or held a kitchen knife; the only gesture that seemed authentic was her opening a bag of pretzel nuggets. This woman was a girl raised on middle class middle brow mass’s market trash she’s not exactly to the manor born or even to the upper middle class (who know their way around a kitchen). Everything she puts out is for show.
Against my better judgment I visited the As Ever site and you guys, there are only like twelve products that are all totally banal. Really, who is going to buy MM “crepe mix”? And what is the novelty in MM apricot or raspberry jam? The only authentic thing is that she contributed the calligraphy to the labels. She would have just done a stationery line. I can’t believe she’s on TV bragging about her “sold out” line of twelve test products that were probably issues in a tiny micro batch just so she could say they “sold out.” I don’t get why anyone would buy this banal idiocy except as a joke. |
lol sure thing, Megan. |
+1. Meg and Harry are dumb easy marks surrounded by grifters. |
All of this. I expect zero of Harry, but MM should be smarter than this. Everything she does is calculated, but still turns out all wrong and weird. Even the title — of the show, as well as the re-branded line of stuff — is ridiculous. |
Don’t be silly. The ARE the grifters, looking for easy marks. |
Her only “product” is the fact that she married a Prince. Who she promptly removed from the monarchy.
It is so transparently obvious that she moved them to California to a) prevent the crown taking custody of their kids (which is their legal right in the UK) and b) because CA is a common property state that would give her more of Harry’s $ in a divorce. Well, they bought a nice house for sure, but now that they have to pay for a massively inflated lifestyle and their own security, and their projects (except Harry’s tacky memoir) are all flops, they are on borrowed time. Hollywood shuns them bc she is a user and a liar. They will be rapidly burning through their leveraged capital. She always looks sloppy, and her clothes never fit; I don’t know why anyone would buy her style or products. |
This is what I do. I didn’t even watch the Oprah interview or their first Netflix show where they dished on royal life. I read enough and saw the highlights to have gotten the gist. While they gain a huge amount of interest, some love some hate, they have not had any commercial success. They have an extravagant lifestyle without the means to sustain it. I suspect if Charles leaves Harry any money, it will be in trust with conditions attached and Meghan won’t be able to touch it. |
At the end of the day, neither Netflix nor any other network are interested in paying Meghan a cent if she can’t produce products that generate revenue for them. Everything she does is a flop. They’ve become a joke in Hollywood and are nothing but tabloid fodder at this point. Tabloid mentions don’t pay the bills. |
Harry's book Spare made him a $20 million advance and he earned several million more from book sales. Netflix's CEO is on the record several times recently saying he has full confidence in Meghan, and Netflix wouldn't be partnering with her online shop if that weren't the case. But keep (hate) wish-casting. |
Several of you are proudly boasting about how you never watched the Oprah interview, or read Spare, or watched her show. You don't seem to realize this makes you look biased and extremely ignorant. You're discrediting your own hate. |
I was glad to see him in Angola without her, he must have stood up to her finally. I hope to see him take the children alone to meet their extended family someday.
She just wants attention, not money. She can’t go a day without calling attention to herself. Those poor kids. |
Her last instagram post was July 4th 😂 She can’t control the Daily Mail who puts out ten articles a day encouraging people to hate her. |
It’s hilarious that anyone is arguing H&M work hard.
ICYMI: “celebs” who occasionally show up at events or film a handful of unscripted netflix shows or podcasts are *not* working hard. |
