# of AP tests required for private school students applying to Oxbridge

My son didnt go, but was accepted to oxford.
7 APs at 5
Scored really well on the TSA (89) and had a great interview.
His personal stmt was good but not amazing.
His GPA was 3.9/4 UW.
HE receveid an unconditional offer last year but was accepted off the waitlist at Stanford and decided to stay in the US after initially committing to Oxford.

I understand there are plenty of past tsa tests to practice, but is there any book that your son would recommend?
