It would appear they have evidence of recent illegal activity (see quotes below). And, he had 11 videos on his computer and a smashed hard drive in the hallway.
Anyone who has child porn on their computers needs to be arrested and investigated.

It doesn’t fit the profile of CSA picture collectors. They typically have thousands of photos and prosecutors usually want to prove they sent pictures to a third party, hence “distribution.” Some sites on the dark web require a potential new member send them an incriminating picture. He may have had these to investigate a story. It’s probably a set up.
