Latest news is that someone called for an ambulance from her address for a suspected heart attack.

She couldn't be revived and died on the scene.

So sad. She was very good in Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and Worst Cooks in America.

Her nephew had diabetes

Burrell was an advocate for juvenile diabetes awareness and was a celebrity ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, according to the Food Network. She served on the advisory board for the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit that brings life-changing opportunities for young people in need. Burrell also served on City Harvest's Food Council, a New York City food rescue program.

No. My regular dr does not do a complete cardiac check at the annual visit.

I get my complete cardiac check up done by a cardiologist annually because of my family history and because my medical insurance covers it. I get an EKG, an ECG and a nuclear stress test. My cardiologist has my complete cardiac history since 2016.
