You have to be kidding me. Enough with that excuse. |
And his alma mater apparently |
Kennedy Principal is retiring. She lasted two years. |
Yup. The cabal of lies and secrecy in the admin class in MCPS is toxic. |
He has his hand in everything. |
| According to my BCC student, the teachers lined the doors to greet students this morning wearing yellow stickers in support of Dr. Mooney. Apparently the teachers like Dr. Mooney and feel that the BOE/MCPS are scapegoating him for security issues that are countywide and not school-specific. |
| Maybe they thought people would give their honest opinions about school Admin if they were not in the room at that security meeting |
Your last part: typical. |
That's fine, but then Peter Moran should've explained that as parents and students took the mic to denounce the principal and admin in general for not being there. |
^Drop the A and replace it with an O in someone's last name. |
He couldn't even communicate THAT? And he oversees everyone? Lordy help us all. |
I think he CHOSE not to communicate that. |
These teachers at B-CC are an embarrassment. They are doing MCAAP's job for them. |
Then where was MCAAP this morning? |
|
Dr Mooney requested an exemption to NOT attend the school safety meeting. His bosses granted it. Mooney was the one who refused to go. Moran was protecting Mooney’s privacy, as he is required to do, and Mooney threw Moran under the bus.
Mooney sent this message to staff last night: “As the principal, I also need to set the record straight on several items…*With regards to the recent safety community meeting held at B-CC by Councilman Friedson, at no point was I directed not to attend the meeting but instead expressed a preference not to attend due to a prior commitment which my supervisors supported”. Dr Mooney has been proven to have repeatedly lied to Central Office and to have lied about Central Office to his staff. He has lied about basic safety issues. He has repeatedly refused to enforce bullying protocols when the victims of the bullying are students of color or Jewish students. Those are only some of the issues here. If some teachers want to support that, it’s their right. But not everyone would agree with that choice. |
